Scott Mclean, Advisor
After graduating from the University of Arizona with a BS in Accounting, Scott McLean joined Arthur Young & Company (Ernst & Young) in the audit department and was later hired by Southwest Savings and Loan. Scott was the Certified Public Accountant who was responsible for internal audit functions specifically related to the Commercial Lending and Commercial Real Estate Owned Departments at Southwest. He later became a Vice President responsible for the management and workout of a $110 million portfolio of commercial real estate and corporate banking loans. He later was asked to run the Phoenix office of TELACU/Carpenter, an Irvine, California based RTC Asset Management Contractor, when the government, through the Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC), began taking over the assets of Arizona’s Savings and Loans. Scott managed and disposed of a $100 million portfolio of commercial real estate and non-performing commercial real estate loans.
Scott is an experienced Maricopa Superior Court Appointed Receiver and author of numerous due diligence studies for both local and national lenders. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Arizona and currently is the Designated Broker for Magee Builders LLC.
