Matt Montgomery, Advisor
Matt Montgomery has authored numerous real property due diligence reports for lenders and both national and local development companies. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing from Arizona State University in 1995. An internship with Pulte Homes West Operating Company transitioned into his first position, where he provided assistance in Market Research and Business Planning for Pulte Divisions throughout the West, including the Active Adult Division.
In late 1996, Matt joined Communities Southwest, a major real estate investment and master planned community development company based in Phoenix, initially performing market analysis and project
management support and then advancing to Vice President of Development, where he was responsible for all aspects of the development for several master plan communities. In 2003, Matt managed land entitlements and complex utility solutions for Newport Development, a real estate investment company based in Scottsdale, and was also involved in the acquisition and marketing aspects for the company’s projects. Matt established the Arizona Division for Southeastern Property Development in 2005, which later became the Weldenfield company.
Matt is a member of the Fiesta Bowl and Insight Bowl Committee and active with Pinal Partnership. He has previously been involved with the Homebuilders Association of Central Arizona, Valley Partnership and ULI.
