Jay Tubbs, Advisor
For over 12 years Jay Tubbs was Vice President of Development for Ryan Companies US, Inc.. Jay was responsible for all aspects of the development process including site selection and acquisition, municipal use permits, zoning and approvals, design and construction coordination, financing and sale or lease negotiation. Jay was also responsible for opening the Ryan companies property management operation in Arizona and growing that business to over 2 million square feet under management.

Property Management Experience
- Ryan Properties – Responsible for all aspects of Ryan Properties managed portfolio in Arizona and Southern California from 1997 – 2000. Grew portfolio from 450,000 sf to over 2,000,000 sf.
- Security Capital Group – Vice President responsible for oversight of a multifamily portfolio of 12,000 units in Phoenix, Tucson and San Diego; managed a staff of over 250 asset managers, property managers and maintenance personnel
- Pederson Group – in addition to development responsibilities managed retail projects totaling over 1M sf in Arizona.
Prior to joining Ryan in 1997 Jay had spent nearly 12 years with Price Waterhouse and Coopers & Lybrand, principally as a real estate consultant. During this time he was responsible for numerous market and feasibility studies for municipal and developer clients as well as an extensive background in bankruptcy, litigation support and workouts for a wide variety of lenders, investors and developers. Additionally, Jay worked with the Pederson group, a Phoenix based retail developer from 1987 through 1989 as Vice President of Development. Jay also worked as Vice President of Management for Security Capital, a multifamily REIT during 1994 and 1995.
Jay holds a Bachelors of Science in Accountancy from Northern Arizona University and successfully passed the Certified Public Accounts exam in 1981. Jay has held an Arizona real estate license since 1985 and has been a licensed broker since 1994.
