David Neher, Advisor
David has developed over 2.8 million square feet of commercial retail product in Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma with a total capitalization of $450 million.
He began his career in office and industrial brokerage, working for a regional firm in it's Dallas headquarters. He quickly worked his way to managing Investment Services accounts out of the firm's Houston office. Pursuing an entrepreneurial opportunity in the Gulf South Region, he cofounded Coliseum Property Group to develop regional power center's in conjunction with a Dallas based Developer. Based in New Orleans, Coliseum was closely involved with municipal and state restructuring efforts directly following Hurricane's Katrina and Rita.
David later joined his joint venture partner, Direct Development, to broaden the geographic scope of his development activity. David was initially Vice President of Development in Direct's Dallas office and was later promoted to Managing Partner of its' Austin office.
He received a B.A. from Southern Methodist University and an M.B.A. from Tulane University. David is active in several organizations including The Real Estate Council, Real Estate Council of Austin, BluePrint Louisiana and the International Council of Shopping Centers.
