Curt Johnson, Advisor

Curt Johnson is an experienced land planner whose expertise includes master planning, conceptual planning, and lot subdivision, as well as the implementation of planning from the conceptual stage through final platting. Curt has also worked in both the private sector and public sectors performing design, entitlements, and project management. He is highly experienced with entitlement plans, land use and zoning, commercial and resort planning, hillside development, development review boards, design guidelines, and feasibility studies.

After receiving his Bachelor of Science in Design, from Arizona State University, he joined Coe & Van Loo Consultants in 1993. In his current role as Senior Vice President, Director of Planning, his responsibilities include feasibility, land planning, design, and entitlements, cost benefit analysis, and public coordination. He has applied his creative land planning solutions to numerous projects throughout the southwest, from infill projects to 24,000 acre master planned communities.

He is a member of the American Planning Association, Arizona Planning Association, Home Builders’ Association of Central Arizona, and the Urban Land Institute. He is a board member and president-elect of Lambda Alpha International Honorary Society for the Advancement of Land Economics. Curt serves on the Board of Directors and is their City/County Board Liaison.
